Additionally, he was elected as the illustrious President of the 18th Bihar Hindi Sammelan, held at Motihari, cementing his legacy as a titan of Bhojpuri literature and an esteemed member of the academic community.

Early Life and Education

Manoranjan Prasad Sinha was born on 10th October 1900 in the Arrah district of Bihar. His father, Rajeshwar Prasad was a Judge by profession. Subsequently, Sinha’s family relocated to the township of Dumraon in the same district, presently known as Buxar. Following his higher education, Sinha secured a position as a Reader at the Banaras Hindu University. Progressing in his career, he was appointed as the Principal of Rajendra College in Chhapra. After his tenure there, Sinha assumed the role of Chancellor at Hindi Vidyapeeth in Deoghar until his retirement. In his final years, Manoranjan Prasad Sinha took up residence at an Ashram situated in the town of Vrindavan. Unfortunately, he passed away in the city of Ranchi during the month of November in 1971.
